Nexus Market: a buyer's review

Nexus has been live longer than Anubis and the difference shows in the depth of the data. The vendor population is bigger, the buyer feedback corpus is larger, and the dispute panel has resolved more orders, which means the rulings table you read when scoping a vendor reflects more cases. None of this means Nexus is automatically the better choice, but it does mean that if you are scoping a category that has a long tail of niche listings, Nexus is the place to start.

The defaults

New accounts route to Monero. New vendor accounts default into 2-of-3 multisig escrow with single-sig as an opt-in fallback. Three production mirrors live in rotation. Dispute panel staffed and tracked by an SLA that is published in the help section. Buyer-side cost is the order price plus the on-chain fee from your wallet; the platform does not charge a buyer commission.

What stands out

The vendor reputation system. Every closed order writes a feedback entry that survives platform-side change events, so even if the platform rotates a mirror or restages an account, the vendor history follows the vendor profile. This sounds like plumbing but it is what makes peer reviews actually useful when you are deciding between two listings.

Where it could be tighter

Search ranks paid placement above unpaid by default; switch to "rating high to low" on every category. The dispute filing form asks you to upload evidence in a specific layout, and the help section does not lead with that layout, which adds twenty minutes to your first dispute if you do not read the policy first. Both are fixable user-side annoyances, neither breaks the platform.

Bottom line
